Consistent Performance with Strong Recovery Lamberto Alvaro's performance at the 2026 Bay to Breakers showed consistent pacing with notable splits, particularly between miles 6 and 7 where he ran at a pace of 10:41 and 10:04 min/mile, respectively. Despite the challenge faced on Hayes Hill from miles 2.2 to 2.7, where split pace slowed to 13:10 min/mile, he recovered well in subsequent miles, eventually achieving a final overall time of 1:47:44 for the 15K race. Throughout the race, Lamberto maintained an impressive ranking in his division, peaking at 49th during the third mile. His strong finish is commendable, ending with an 11:41 min/mile average pace. To further improve, focusing on maintaining consistent pacing across all miles would be beneficial, as there was a slight slowdown in mile 8 which affected his average pace. Overall, his performance contributed to the "Slow Runners Club" team's efforts.
