Steady Pace with Strong Finish Over Varied Terrain Leslie Corona maintained a consistent race pace throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, completing the course in 2:26:19 with an average pace of 19:38 min/mile. Despite facing the very steep Hayes Hill from miles 2.2 to 2.7, Leslie showed resilience. The split times from 5 miles onward demonstrate perseverance with a significant improvement, posting an 18:07 min/mile pace at mile 5, moving up to 12179th place overall at that point. Towards the end, Leslie maintained a stable pace with two consistent mile splits of 18:15 min/mile for both the 6th and 7th miles, ultimately finishing in the top half of the female division and overall field with 7082nd place among the females. Leslie's ability to improve placement during the race suggests a potential for an even stronger finish in future races. It may be beneficial to focus on maintaining pace during uphill segments.
