Steady Performance with Late Surge In the 2026 Bay to Breakers, Kimberly Quinn maintained a consistent pace, with nearly identical splits in the first two miles at 12:18 min/mile. Noteworthy, the third mile introduced the steep Hayes Hill, leading to a slower 16:46 min/mile pace, yet she gained 753 places overall, showing effective hill endurance despite the slower split. As the race progressed, Kimberly picked up her pace, exhibiting a strong finish. In the last mile, her fastest split was recorded at 11:24 min/mile. She completed the 12K with an overall time of 1:33:21, averaging a 12:31 min/mile pace. Her overall place was 6597th out of 24,386 participants and 852nd in her division.
