Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Angelia Tran participated in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, representing PAC RUN CLUB. Starting with a first-mile pace of 12:01 min/mile, she held a competitive initial position. Her pace shifted to 14:45 by the second mile. Notably, despite the significant elevation challenge at Hayes Hill (2.2 to 2.7 miles), she improved her position remarkably by the third mile (Place Division F30-39 857). Angelia's fifth and sixth-mile performances were particularly strong, clocking an impressive 12:46 and 10:45 min/mile pace, respectively. This strategic and substantial improvement led to her final overall position of 8343 out of 24,523 participants. Angelia finished with an overall pace of 13:14 min/mile, illustrating her strong finish. Her consistent improvement in positioning, particularly from the fourth to the sixth mile, highlights her endurance and race smartness. Staying focused on maintaining a steady pace on hills could further boost her overall performance.
