Steady Progress with Speed Increases and Strong Placement Angie Frazey demonstrated consistent pacing and gradual improvement throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers. Beginning with an initial mile pace of 11:48, she efficiently increased her speed by mile six to a swift 10:46 pace. The section starting at miles 2.2 to 2.7, known for its steep incline, didn't deter Angies performance significantly. Maintaining focus and endurance, she achieved an overall elapsed time of 1:24:26 for the 7.45-mile race, with an average pace of 11:20 min/mile. Remarkably, Angie's placements improved over the course of the event. She moved up from 4609th at mile one to 3605th overall by mile six. Her diligence in pacing strategies helped her finish ahead of 19778 participants and secure the 596th position within the F30-39 division.
