Steady Start, Challenging Mid-Race, Strong Finish Gianna De Filippis from Brussels showed an impressive performance during the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K race. Her overall time was 1:43:24, with an average pace of 13:52 min/mile over 7.45 miles. The first two miles were strong, each at an 11:50 min/mile pace, maintaining steady control of her race, placing 5722 overall, 2338 among females, and 770 in her division. The ascent on Hayes Hill impacted her pace, especially between miles 3 and 4, with splits increasing to 18:24 and 22:24 min/mile, causing her rank to lower slightly.
