Steady Progress with Strong Finish Jack Fowle maintained a consistent performance throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K. Starting with an even pace, he completed the first two miles at a steady 10:40 min/mile. Notably, he navigated the steep Hayes Hill between the 2 to 3-mile mark where his pace adjusted to 12:39 min/mile. Impressively, he improved his pace over the second half of the race, finishing with a fast 9:23 min/mile at mile seven. Overall, Jack achieved a 10:39 min/mile average pace across the race, completing the 7.45-mile event in 1:19:20. His efforts saw him finish 2712th overall just after halfway, in the top half of his age division M20-29, and improved his placement with every split in the final miles.
