Strong Start with a Steady Finish Allison Wild maintained a consistent performance throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, finishing with an overall time of 1:43:10, averaging a pace of 13:50 min/mile. She showed a steady start with her first two splits clocking in at 12:47 min/mile. Notably, the third mile split slowed to 16:00 min/mile as she navigated Hayes Hill, which did affect placement slightly, but she remained resilient. From the 6-mile mark onwards, Allison picked up her pace to 13:20 min/mile, improving her placement within her division significantly. By maintaining a focus on the second half of the race, she finished strongly and improved her overall standing by the end. Consistency in pace and effort throughout different course segments shows promise for future races, especially with a little more focus on maintaining speed on inclines such as Hayes Hill.
