Consistent Effort with Strong Recovery Andrew Bentley's performance at the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K showed notable consistency and resilience. Starting with a solid pace, his first mile clocked in at 10:14. Facing Hayes Hill during the third split affected his pace, increasing it to 12:20. Despite this challenge, Andrew managed to stabilize his pace for the next few miles. Interestingly, Andrew's ability to rebound after Hayes Hill is commendable. By mile six, he achieved his fastest pace of 9:58. Finishing the 7.45-mile course in 1:39:44, Andrew placed 4794th overall in his gender from a large pool of 24523 participants. For future races, maintaining that faster pace beyond mile six could elevate his performance. Keep the momentum and continue working on tackling difficult portions more efficiently.
