Consistent Pacing with Strong Finish Cole Marston maintained a steady pace throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, finishing with an overall time of 1:30:48, equating to a 12:11 min/mile average pace. The first mile was completed in 11:31, which was the fastest pace among the earlier splits. Notably, even while traversing Hayes Hill, from 2.2 to 2.7 miles, Cole's performance remained resilient, although the split time slowed to 13:47 during the third mile. This slowdown slightly affected the overall pace. Continuous improvement was apparent as Cole began to quicken his pace after the challenging stretch, culminating in impressive split times of 11:10 and 11:15 in the final miles. This positive trend indicates an overall upward trajectory in performance.
