Steady Progression and Strong Finish Lady Custodio-Rombawa showed consistent pacing throughout her 15K Bay to Breakers run, completing the race in 2:38:46 at an average pace of 17:13 min/mile. Notably, her performance improved significantly after tackling the steep Hayes Hill section, moving from 2502nd place to finish 2798th overall out of 4080 participants. After maintaining a pace in the 17-minute range, she accelerated in the sixth and seventh miles with split paces of 15:21 and 15:26, respectively. Lady's early splits, especially the consistent initial miles around the 17:45 min/mile mark, laid a strong foundation for her later performance. Her resilience was evident in later stages where she adeptly managed her pace despite the climbs and maintained a strong pace to the finish line. For future races, focusing on maintaining that accelerated pace more consistently can continue to bolster her race-day results. Great job persevering through the course!
