Consistent Progress and Strong Finish in 15K Lady Custodio-Rombawa demonstrated a balanced performance in the 9.23-mile 15K Breakers Bonus event. Starting with a 17:54 min/mile pace, Lady improved her speed, achieving her fastest mile at 15:21 min/mile between miles 5 and 6. Notably, after the challenging Hayes Hill, her position improved significantly, moving from 2718 to 2130 in the overall rankings by mile 3. Despite a demanding climb, Lady managed to maintain her poise and finished with an overall pace of 17:12 min/mile. Concluding with a time of 2:38:46, she ranked 1313th among females and 209th in her division, F40-49. The ability to pick up speed in later stages of the race is commendable. A slight dip in pace was observed in mile 8, at 18:46 min/mile. Continuing to work on maintaining momentum during these segments will propel her performance even further. Great effort overall.
