Consistent Performance with a Strong Division Finish Ryan maintained a commendable pace throughout the 15K race, starting off with a solid 6:00 min/mile for the first two miles. The steep incline at Hayes Hill, beginning around the 2.2-mile mark, slightly impacted his third-mile pace, which slowed to 6:51 min/mile. However, Ryan quickly bounced back with a consistent sub-6:30 min/mile pace for the remainder of the race, highlighting his effective adaptation strategy on hilly terrain. Ryan completed the event with a total time of 57:14 and an overall pace of 6:12 min/mile. Despite encountering a challenging section, his ability to recover quickly allowed him to secure 2nd place in the M30-39 division. The strong finish in his division, coupled with the maintained placement in the top ranks for the majority of the race, showcases Ryan's ability to pace effectively and demonstrate resilience on varying terrains. Keeping this momentum in future races will be advantageous.
