Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Hannah commenced the 12K Bay to Breakers race with an initial mile pace of 11:44 minutes, holding steady at overall place 15,486. As she encountered Hayes Hill between miles 2.2 and 2.7, her pace dropped to 28:48 minutes per mile, yet she navigated the difficult section without changing position. Post Hayes Hill, Hannah picked up her pace significantly. By mile 5, her split time improved to 11:49 minutes with an overall position adjustment to 12,649, moving up the ranks. The final splits showcase Hannah's accelerating performance, with her closing mile split at a solid 11:14 minutes per mile. She completed the race in 2:08:12, averaging a pace of 17:12 min/mile across the 7.45-mile course.
