Steady Improvement After Initial Slowdown Aditya Reddy ran the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with steady pacing and notable resilience. Starting the race with back-to-back mile splits of 9:48, Aditya displayed consistency over the first two miles. The challenge began at mile 3, where the time increased to a 12:12 split pace, likely coinciding with the steep segment from Hayes Hill which affected pacing. Despite this, his subsequent splits showed commendable recovery. Notably, the final two miles were completed at a faster pace, demonstrating a strong finish with a 9:30 and 9:19 split for miles 6 and 7. Overall, Aditya maintained an average pace of 10:09 min/mile for the entire distance of 7.45 miles. The initial adjustment at Hayes Hill was countered by consistently improved splits in the latter part of the race.
