The steep hill section from 2.2 to 2.7 miles saw a split of 14:54 per mile, resulting in a significant climb in placement to 4834 overall, suggesting effective pacing could benefit future training to better handle elevation changes. Post-hill, Christina's pace fluctuated with a gradual slowdown, peaking at a 19:38 pace by mile six. Despite a challenging final split of 14:51, she maintained her position overall and in the gender category.
