Consistent Performance with Improved Pacing Rudjy Ponceja delivered a strong performance at the 2026 Bay to Breakers, completing the 15K Breakers Bonus in a total time of 1:38:48 with an overall average pace of 10:42 min/mile. Starting off conservatively with a first split at 14:17 min/mile, Rudjy showed strategic improvement, significantly increasing his pace by the fifth mile to 9:35 min/mile. This strategic acceleration was maintained throughout the latter part of the race. A highlight for Rudjy was his consistent pacing improvement, especially after the critical Hayes Hill section, which he handled with a gradual increase in speed. He improved his position from 1424th to 1066th place overall. Each split showcased better pacing management, with his best pace recorded at 9:14 min/mile during the ninth mile.
