Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Micah Rubin maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, completing the race with an overall time of 1:29:40 over a 7.45-mile course. He started strong with an 11:20 min/mile pace for the first two miles, encountering a notable slowdown between 2.2 and 2.7 miles on Hayes Hill, clocking in at 15:06 for mile three. Impressively, he regained speed post-hill, completing the following mile splits between 11:45 and 11:06 min/mile. He placed 3425th out of all male participants and 808th in the male 20-29 age division. Micah's background in San Francisco and his involvement with team Cotchett Pitre and McCarthy perhaps fueled his resilient recovery post-Hayes Hill.
