Steady Performance Amidst Challenging Splits Katrina Fagaragan completed the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with an elapsed time of 2:48:47, resulting in an average pace of 22:39 min/mile. Her first two miles were well-managed with paces of 17:22 min/mile and 15:01 min/mile, setting a solid foundation early in the race. Notably, the third split, which included Hayes Hill, saw a slower pace of 32:32 min/mile. Overall, Katrina placed 16,508 out of 24,386 participants, and within her age and gender division, she secured the 1,263rd position out of 1,527. Post-Hayes Hill, she demonstrated improved pacing, especially in the final mile with a pace of 21:31 min/mile. Continuing to work on endurance and hill climbing will be beneficial moving forward. Representing Team Cotchett Pitre and McCarthy, Katrina showed dedication and perseverance throughout the course.
