Consistent Improvement Throughout Race Abraham Eng demonstrated a strong progression in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, showcasing a notable improvement in pace as the race progressed. After starting with an 11:48 min/mile pace in the first mile, Abraham faced Hayes Hill during the second mile, slowing to a 14:46 min/mile pace. However, he quickly regained momentum by dropping his pace to 12:31 min/mile in the third mile and maintained consistent improvement through mile six, achieving his fastest mile at 9:42 min/mile. Finishing the race with an overall elapsed time of 1:26:10, Abraham averaged an 11:33 min/mile pace. Throughout the race, Abraham climbed significantly in the rankings, starting in the 8429th position and finishing in 5245th. This upward movement indicates strong pacing strategy and stamina, particularly towards the latter half of the race. Consistent training on hill sections could further enhance performance, especially early in the race. Great effort representing PAC RUN CLUB!
