Consistent Pace and Strong Division Standing Faith Reynolds maintained an impressive and consistent pace throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K race. Remarkably, she kept a 6:14 min/mile pace for the first two miles, securing a firm position in the top 137 overall. During the challenging third mile, including the incline of Hayes Hill, her pace slightly slowed to 6:55 min/mile, yet she improved her placement, advancing to 132nd overall. Her split time improved as she tackled subsequent miles, with the sixth mile marked by a swift 6:07 min/mile pace. Over the 7.45-mile race, Faith concluded with an overall pace of 6:19 min/mile, displaying a commendable ability to accelerate, especially evident from miles five to seven. Finishing as the 17th female and placing 7th in the F20-29 division, she demonstrated formidable competitive stamina.
