Consistent Effort with Strong Finish Kyle Folsom maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers race, showing remarkable stability with an even 10:17 min/mile pace for the first two miles. Despite the challenge of Hayes Hill, reflected in splits three and four with paces of 11:24 and 11:37 min/mile respectively, Kyle managed to keep the loss to a minimum, only slightly dropping in overall and category placements. Impressively, Kyle recovered well post-Hayes Hill, showcasing strength and resilience. From mile five onward, he improved his pace, with a notable 9:31 min/mile at mile six. This boost continued into the final split with a 9:11 min/mile, securing an overall time of 1:36:51 for the 9.23-mile course.
