Consistent Effort and Strong Finish Highlight Performance Sai Souphom from Burlingame, CA, participated in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K event, clocking an overall time of 3:28:22 with an average pace of 27:58 min/mile over a 7.45-mile distance. Sai exhibited remarkable steadiness in her first two miles, maintaining a split pace of 35:51 min/mile. Her performance improved significantly in the third mile with a pace of 32:24 min/mile, advancing her positioning to 13766 overall, moving up in both gender and division ranks. The most notable improvement occurred between miles 4 and 6. Particularly compelling was the split from 5 to 6 miles where she achieved her fastest pace of 20:06 min/mile, which resulted in advancement against her peers.
