During the third mile, which includes Hayes Hill, Devin accelerated to a 16:59 min/mile pace - a notable improvement and where he saw his ranking improve significantly in overall and gender placements. In the latter half of the race, Devin's pace ranged between 18:30 min/mile and 21:08 min/mile. It's commendable how he maintained a consistent pace throughout, with a strong showing up Hayes Hill.
