The third and fourth mile saw changes in overall position and division placement, with Tim climbing from 626th to 411th in the M40-49 division. This points to an effective strategy, particularly on Hayes Hill, located between 2.2 and 2.7 miles. Tim's performance was noteworthy in the final two miles where he recorded split times of 9:50 and 9:41, showcasing a significant improvement in pace.
