Consistent Effort and Determination Shine Through Anton Osobov maintained a resilient pace during the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K. His first three miles were clocked at a consistent pace of around 21-22 minutes per mile. Starting strong, he moved up in rank to 13,639 overall at the 3-mile mark. The challenging Hayes Hill may have influenced a dip in pace to 54:28 for the third mile, but despite this, he climbed the ranks forward, showing perseverance against tougher terrain. His overall elapsed time was 3:34:17 for the 7.45-mile distance, averaging a pace of 28:45 min/mile. Noteworthy is his performance in the fifth mile, where the split time improved to 20:01, demonstrating a significant recovery from earlier challenges. Finishing as part of The Ungovernables team, Anton placed 8,716 in his gender and 2,890 in his division out of 24,386 participants. Continuing to focus on mid-race terrain adjustment could enhance future race experiences.
