Steady Progress with Strong Finish at 12K Race Igor Tregub displayed a consistent and determined performance at the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K race. Starting with a pace of 13:49 min/mile for the first mile, he maintained consistency over the next mile before experiencing a slight slowdown on Hayes Hill, finishing the third mile in 14:07. Notably, Igor picked up the pace significantly from the fourth mile onwards, especially excelling in the sixth mile with a swift 10:52 min/mile pace, elevating his standing in the process. The strong finish in the last two miles, both under 11 minutes, was a testament to Igor's stamina and effort in gaining positions. Moving up from 9,234th overall at the second mile to 5,215th by the seventh, his final 12:30 min/mile overall pace is commendable.
