Consistent Pace with Impressive Finish Andre Jarecki had a strong performance at the 2026 Bay to Breakers, completing the 12K race in 1:19:56 with an average pace of 10:43 min/mile. Starting at an 11:03 min/mile pace during the first mile, Andre progressively improved, with the fastest split being a 10:00 min/mile at the sixth mile. Despite the challenging section of the race between the second and third miles on Hayes Hill, Andre maintained a steady pace with only a slight slowdown. Throughout the race, Andre demonstrated admirable consistency. While he began in 1848th place male gender at the first mile, he finished in 2419th place male gender, and 798th in his division, M30-39, out of 24523 total participants. The steady improvement in pace after the hill reflects positively on his ability to regain momentum. Continuing to work on pacing during ascents could further enhance performance in future races.
