Consistent Start and a Steady Pace Ella, representing SurveyMonkey in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, demonstrated a strong, consistent start with an initial mile split of 10:53 min/mile. Her second-mile pace showed a slight improvement to 10:48 min/mile. However, approaching the third mile, which features the challenging Hayes Hill segment, her pace understandably adjusted to 15:47 min/mile.
