Steady Progress Through Challenging Segment Sanjeev maintained a consistent pace in the 12K Bay to Breakers race, completing it in 1:35:27 with an average pace of 12:48 min/mile. His performance showed significant strength on the hilly segment between 2.2 miles and 2.7 miles, where he continued to push through despite a drop in immediate pace. Notably, he completed the steep Hayes Hill section between Mile 2 and Mile 3 with a split time of 14:53 at a pace of 14:53 min/mile. Sanjeev gained positions during several splits, notably improving his placement by 1649 places between Mile 3 and Mile 4. His final position was 7,553 out of 24,523 participants. Sanjeev's impressive comeback in the latter part of the race, especially between Miles 5 and 6 with a split time of 11:44, stands out. For future races, maintaining a consistent pace from the start could lead to an improved performance throughout all segments.
