Strong Finish on Hayes Hill Sanjeev demonstrated consistent progress throughout the course, completing the 7.45-mile distance with an overall pace of 12:48 min/mile. Notably, his performance improved after the challenging third mile, gaining a significant number of spots in the standings. By the sixth mile, Sanjeev managed to advance his overall place to 5175, climbing in both division and gender standings. The ascent up Hayes Hill impacted his pace noticeably, with the third mile split reaching 14:53 min/mile. Despite the challenging incline, Sanjeev maintained focus and picked up speed in the later miles. His final split before completing the race was clocked at 12:18 min/mile, reflecting solid pacing strategies. Given the large field of over 24,000 participants, Sanjeev's ability to improve his overall standing by over 1,000 places during the race is commendable. Continuing to refine pacing strategies, particularly on inclines, may yield even more impressive results.
