Consistent Early Pace and Strong Finish David Cisewski maintained an impressive start at the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with initial splits of 5:19 per mile for the first two miles, placing 11th overall and leading his M40-49 division. His performance saw him surge on Hayes Hill during the third mile, resulting in a split pace of 6:11. He quickly regained momentum, securing an overall elapsed pace of 5:30 per mile. Remarkably, his fastest split occurred in mile six at 5:12. David finished 27th overall among 26,545 participants and secured third place in his division. Focusing on maintaining speed in the latter stages of the race remains an area to target. Great work!
