Consistent Performance Shows Endurance and Strategy Theron maintained a strong and steady pace, finishing the 2026 Bay to Breakers race with an overall time of 1:49:37 for the 12K distance. His average pace was 14:42 min/mile, placing him 299th in the M60-69 division out of a total of 24523 participants. Notably, his performance on Hayes Hill, where the pace dropped to 17:42 min/mile, indicates an opportunity to strategize further for steep inclines. The last two splits showed improvement, with a split pace of 12:43 and 13:57 min/mile, respectively.
