Consistent Pacing with Strong Finishes Luciana demonstrated strategic pacing in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K. Starting steadily, her initial 1-mile split was clocked at 12:39 min/mile. She improved her pace consistently, with standout performances in the second and fifth miles clocked at 11:44 min/mile and 11:55 min/mile, respectively. Notably, she tackled Hayes Hill during the third split, which took her longer at 13:54, but she quickly regained speed afterward. Her fastest split was the sixth mile at 11:00 min/mile, showcasing a robust finish.
