Consistent Improve and Strong Pace Finish Luciana Cordeiro demonstrated a solid performance in the 2026 Bay to Breakers. Throughout the 12K event, Luciana maintained a consistent pace with a notable improvement in later miles. Starting off with a pace of 12:39 min/mile, she progressively increased her speed, finishing the race with an overall pace of 12:06 min/mile. Particularly impressive was her performance from miles 5 to 7, where her splits were 11:55, 11:00, and 11:15 min/mile, respectively. This improvement led her to climb significant places in her division, moving from 381st to 274th in the F40-49 category by the end. Her effort in maintaining a steady pace and improving, particularly after the challenging Hayes Hill section, is commendable. Focusing on steady pace management, especially in the earlier miles, could enhance future performances.
