Consistent Marathon with a Strong Finish Joshua demonstrated a solid performance at the 2025 Boulderthon. He maintained a steady pace, with an overall elapsed time of 4:24:25 and an average pace of 10:05 min/mile, covering a total distance of 26.2 miles. His efforts placed him 841st overall out of 2678 participants, and 626th among male competitors, which shows a good result given the competition. Notably, Joshua showed resilience in the latter half of the race. Despite a slowdown at mile 4 with the split pace increasing to 14:10 min/mile, he improved significantly at mile 5 with a split time of 7:41 min/mile. His strongest performance was maintained consistently as he approached mile 11 and beyond, keeping his pace in the 9:30-9:50 min/mile range. Concentrating on maintaining a consistent pace throughout could enhance future race performances. Keep up the training with attention on pacing for an even stronger finish next time.
