Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Milo begun his marathon with a strong and consistent start, maintaining an 8:26 min/mile pace for the first two miles. His pace improved slightly, reaching 8:03 min/mile at mile five, advancing his position significantly across all placements. This early consistency was notable, as he stayed under an 8:17 pace through mile 12. This foundation helped him achieve a remarkable standing of 58th in his division by mile 12. The second half presented a challenge as his times began to slow. Starting at mile 17, his pace dropped to 9:12 min/mile, with a noticeable slowdown to 11:06 min/mile at mile 23. Milo concluded the marathon with a total time of 3:59:04 and an average pace of 9:07 min/mile.
