Consistent Splits, Strong Race Strategy Steven maintained a consistent pacing strategy throughout the Boulderthon 2025 Half Marathon. Starting strong, the first mile was clocked at a pace of 7:29 min/mile, placing him 31st in his division. From mile two onwards, paces varied between 7:56 and 9:11 min/mile, showcasing an adaptability to maintain a steady pace overall with an average of 8:22 min/mile. Notably, miles three and four demonstrated impressive consistency with splits of 7:56 and 8:00 min/mile. Although there was a slight drop in pace from miles seven to nine, Steven managed to finish this 13.1-mile race in 1:49:39. His performance held strong towards the end with a split pace of 8:29 at mile twelve, recovering well after a challenging stretch between miles seven and nine.
