Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Connor Peskin #11122 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Marathon Distance: 26.2 miles

Steady Early Pace Fuels Strong Marathon Debut Push Connor Peskin finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:14:29, a jump up in distance from the half marathon he completed at the same race in 2023. Racing at altitude over 5,000 feet, he built his effort in the marathon's early and middle miles before managing the demands of the back half. Peskin's pacing through the first 16 miles was notably consistent, averaging 9:11 per mile as he moved steadily through downtown Boulder and out along the county roads. That stretch marked the most even running of his day. From there, his per-mile pace eased into the 10:2011:07 range through the 21st mile, before he found another gear late, closing with a 9:33 final mile into the finish on the Pearl Street Mall.
