Personal Best by Wide Margin Adam Follett ran 3:24:38 to place 71st overall and 63rd among men in the 3,305-strong field. It's his fastest Boulderthon marathon to date, well ahead of his 3:33:33 in 2024, 3:49:18 in 2025, and 3:50:17 in 2023. Follett's pacing stayed remarkably even through the race, holding between 7:39 and 7:48 per mile for the first 18 miles before a gradual late-race fade brought his overall pace to 7:48 min/mile by the finish. His strongest mile-plus stretch came from mile 9 to mile 11, where he clicked off consecutive splits of 7:23, 7:44, and 7:06 his fastest mile of the day. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, that mid-race surge stands out as the highlight of a well-managed effort.
