Steady Build Through Midrace Carries Marathon Debut Home Finley Craig finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:20:50. Her only prior Boulderthon starts were half marathons, so this marks her first finish at the full 26.2-mile distance in Boulder. Craig's cumulative pace tightened steadily through the first half, dropping from 10:23 min/mile after mile one to 9:45 min/mile by mile 18, before drifting back up to 9:58 min/mile at the finish. Her strongest stretch came from mile 10 to mile 11, split in 8:46, the fastest mile of her race. That surge came just before the course reaches Boulder Reservoir, part of a route that ultimately finishes on the Pearl Street Mall - a course this year cut to roughly 603 feet of net gain, all at over 5,000 feet of altitude.
