40-Minute Marathon Breakthrough Fueled by Even Early Pacing Amanda Faison finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:29:59, placing 107th overall and 12th among women, with a first-place finish in the F35-39 division. This marks a significant improvement over her 2024 Boulderthon result of 4:09:38, cutting nearly 40 minutes and moving up from 348th overall to 107th in a larger field. Faison's race showed strong control through the first 20 miles, holding between 7:25 and 7:52 per mile and reaching the 20-mile mark in 2:35:39. Her strongest stretch came in miles 1 through 10, where she averaged roughly 7:35 per mile, building an early cushion. The final 10K brought a natural settling of pace as fatigue accumulated at altitude, with miles 21 through 24 ranging from 8:49 to 9:04, before she closed with a 26th mile at 8:16 into the Pearl Street Mall finish.
