Even Early Pace Gives Way to a Tough Back Stretch Trevor Brown finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:55:26, off his 2025 result on the same course, where he ran 3:26:02. He opened with tightly controlled pacing, holding between 7:42 and 8:10 per mile through the first 18 miles at altitude above 5,000 feet a strong, consistent stretch that carried him deep into the race. From mile 19 the pace eased steadily, and the miles around the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5 brought the sharpest slowdown of the day. He regrouped over the final two miles, closing in 10:31 and 9:04 to bring the marathon home.
