Age-Group Title Anchors Strong Marathon Debut Pace Through Boulder Anne Swanson claimed first place in the Female 50-54 division at the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon, crossing in 3:59:37. She held that division lead from the very first mile split and never relinquished it across all 26.2 miles. Swanson's race showed a clear two-phase shape: a fast, controlled first half through 13.1 miles in roughly 1:47:23 (about 8:12 min/mile), followed by a gradual fade as the effort caught up with her in the final 10K, where per-mile pace slipped into the 10:30-11:50 range before tightening again over the last two miles. Her standout stretch came early, miles 3 through 5, covered in 24:10 an 8:03 min/mile pace the fastest sustained running of her day. Finishing on the Pearl Street Mall, she navigated Boulder's mile-high altitude en route to a well-earned division title.
