Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Dmytro Muradov #13625 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Marathon Distance: 26.2 miles

Steady Climb: A Marathon That Got Faster With Every Mile Dmytro Muradov completed the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:01:27, averaging 9:12 per mile across the 26.2-mile course. The race unfolded as a study in patience: after opening near 9:30 pace through the first ten miles, Muradov's cumulative pace steadily tightened mile after mile, dropping under 9:20 by mile 19 and finishing at 9:13. His strongest stretch came from mile 17 to mile 20, where he covered three miles in roughly 25 minutes and 40 seconds an 8:33 per-mile clip that pulled his overall average down for the rest of the race. That kind of finish, sustained at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, reflects well-paced effort management from start to line on the Pearl Street Mall.
