Strong Front Half Fuels Top-30 Marathon Finish Noel Sookswat finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:10:53, placing 29th overall and 23rd among men in a field of 3,305, with a runner-up finish in the Male 15-19 division. Last year, Sookswat ran the Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:14:57, taking the division title. Stepping up to the full marathon distance this year, he built an early rhythm around 7:14 per mile before surging into a strong middle stretch. Miles 10 through 17 were the highlight, with splits tightening into the 6:30-6:53 range and a fastest mile of 6:30 at mile 11, pulling his cumulative pace down to 6:53 per mile by mile 17. The final ten miles cooled to the high-7:00s and 8:00s as fatigue set in, but the early pace bank held. Sookswat's marathon came on the 2026 Boulderthon course, redesigned this year with net elevation gain reduced by roughly 40 percent, and finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet.
