Steady Pacing Through Two-Thirds, Tough Final Miles Lizzie Todd finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:17:42, averaging 9:50 per mile across the 26.2-mile course. Todd ran a disciplined, even race through the first 21 miles, holding between 8:14 and 9:38 per mile and passing the halfway point with an 8:59 cumulative pace. That opening stretch miles 1 through 13 stood out as her strongest of the day, sustained at altitude above 5,000 feet in Boulder. The pace held remarkably well into the 20s before easing near mile 22, around where the marathon route meets the lululemon Power-Up Zone. From there, her mile splits stretched from 10:03 up to 14:00 as fatigue set in, before she found another gear over the closing miles to reach the finish on the Pearl Street Mall.
