Steady Splits Power a Top-2% Marathon Finish Nate Leven completed the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:21:24, averaging 7:41 per mile and placing 55th overall and 47th among men in a field of 3,305. His race unfolded with notable evenness: the opening nine miles clicked by at roughly 7:31 per mile, and he held within a few seconds of that rhythm through the middle of the course before easing to about 7:39 per mile over the final six miles. His strongest stretch came at mile 11, covered in 7:12, the fastest full mile of his day. Racing at Boulder's elevation of over 5,000 feet, Leven carried that consistent effort to the finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
