Steady Pace Through 20 Miles Anchors Strong Finish Brian Leahy completed the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:50:32, placing 244th overall and 199th among men in a field of 3,305. His early miles settled into a consistent 8:30s rhythm, holding an 8:378:43 cumulative pace through mile 21 before the closing miles gradually eased toward an 8:48 overall pace at the finish. Mile 11 stood out as his fastest of the race, covered in 8:02, part of a strong mid-race stretch that kept his cumulative pace remarkably steady between miles 12 and 19, never drifting beyond an 8:39 range. That control set up a resilient close, with his pace tightening again in the final two miles after the course passed the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5, before finishing on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
