Strong Finish Powers Top-10% Marathon Effort Taylor Kincaid finished the marathon in 3:48:37, placing 227th overall and 40th among women out of the field of 3,305. Her race built steadily through the middle miles before a sharp final push closing with a 7:50 mile over the last stretch, her fastest full mile of the day, after holding in the 8:40s8:50s range for most of the second half. That closing mile stood out against an otherwise measured pace, showing strong finishing strength after 25 miles of steady work. The race concluded on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting cap to a course that runs through Boulder County at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
