Strong Start, Steady Finish Lands Top 10% Overall Luisa De Moura Roberto finished the marathon in 3:46:53, placing 207th overall out of the field of 3,305 and 34th among women. Her opening six miles were the fastest sustained stretch of the race, clicking off at roughly an 8:11 per-mile average before the pace eased through the middle miles. The toughest stretch came near mile 22, close to where the lululemon Power-Up Zone sits at approximately mile 22.5, where her split slowed to 10:26. She answered well over the final four miles, rebuilding rhythm to close in the 8:20s and 9:teens per mile en route to the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, the overall pacing held admirably steady from start to finish.
