Steady Pace Through 20 Miles Fuels Top Finish Jamie Boyd finished the marathon in 3:20:13, placing 51st overall and 6th among women in a field of 3,305. This marks her step up from the half marathon distance she ran at Boulderthon in 2024, where she finished in 1:41:33. Boyd's pacing was remarkably even for the first two-thirds of the race, holding between 7:27 and 7:38 per mile from mile 1 through mile 20 a stretch that included a strong mile 17 split of 7:17. The final 10K brought a modest fade, with miles 21 through 24 settling into the 7:588:30 range as fatigue set in, before she rallied over the closing two miles to finish at 7:447:45 pace. That closing surge helped her move up in the standings late, a strong finish given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet.
