Steady Early Pace Carries Through Strong Marathon Finish Lauren Hinds completed the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:00:02, an average pace of 9:09 per mile. Her early miles were her strongest, clicking off miles 1 through 19 in the 8:139:22 range, with mile 11 standing out as her fastest full mile at 7:59. The final 7 miles slowed into the 10:1811:56 range as fatigue set in, though she rallied over the closing mile to post 9:05, her best mile of the back half. Hinds finished the marathon out and back past Boulder Reservoir and along Boulder County backroads before crossing the line on the Pearl Street Mall, all at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
